Napoleon III gold 100 Francs 1868-A MS61 NGC, Paris mint, KM802.1, Fr-580. A magnificent gem with harvest-gold tone and noticeably strong design features. The obverse displays several ticks and wisps, but the reverse is surprisingly fresh. One of the scarcest dates in the series with only 2,315 pieces struck, and one that is rarely available in a mint-state designation such as this.
