Republic gold 50 Francs 1904-A MS61 NGC, Paris mint, KM831, Fr-591. Vibrant, reddish-gold surfaces present an amazing amount of mint bloom and the devices are fully-rendered and most pleasing. Lacking many of the typically seen contact marks, this delightful specimen appears to be somewhat under-graded and perhaps even has claims to a finer designation. A lower-mintage one-year type, avidly-collected at every level of mint state.
