Saxony. Johann Mining Taler 1870-B MS67 PCGS, KM1223. Displaying gorgeous patina in varying shades of gray with luminous watercolor-esque iridescence that coats the surfaces somewhat subtly on the obverse and far more dramatically on the reverse in aquamarine, honeydew and magenta highlights. Visually stunning and with equally impressive technical qualities throughout, this is presently the finest-known certified example of this type, and well-deserving of that distinction.Ex.
