Silesia-Liegnitz-Brieg. Georg Wilhelm 1-1/4 Taler 1675-SK AU58 PCGS, KM536, Dav-LS488. A broad, nearly mint-state example of this scarce type, struck on the death of George Wilhelm, displaying boldly-defined design elements that still possess an incredible amount of raised, intricate detail. All-over attractive cabinet patination is highlighted by lustrous undertones with darker, graphite color dripping from the devices. A piece that was obviously well cared for over the last 340 years, most-desirable in this state of preservation. As a reference, the SCWC prices this coin at $10,500 in an XF grade designation. Krause catalog price(s) for this item: $5000 in VF, $8500 in EF, $13500 in UNC.

Estimate: 8000-10000 USD
