George III "Northumberland" Shilling 1763 AU58 NGC, Royal mint, KM597, S-3742. ESC-1214. A lovely example of the popular single-year issue, beautifully toned over both sides, with faint highpoint friction that defines the grade, but almost no post-strike marks on either side. Some haymarks are evident in the lower obverse surfaces, but these are fairly common for the type, and do not significantly impede the eye-appeal.
