Victoria 1/2 Crown 1843 MS64 PCGS, Royal mint, KM740, S-3888. An exceptional survivor with vivid, silvery luster on both the obverse and reverse, and the addition of golden toning highlights that cling to the raised design. The finest example of this rare date that we have traced, with census data at PCGS and NGC confirming the present piece as the single finest graded. Even so, quite possibly conservatively graded with the surfaces easily rivaling other Gem (MS65) examples of the type that we have handled. Thusly, for the collector by date, a truly singular opportunity; a coin that shouldn't be passed up!
