An extremely rare plain-edge pattern of this very elusive type, with light mottled tone over underlying silvery surfaces. As one might expect of a hastily-made pattern struck to business strike specifications, the strike is short of full, with a touch of incompleteness in the lower portions of the reverse wreath. Light handling further defines the grade, but no singular instance is offensive. Altogether, an offering of high significance that should register as particularly important for the modern-era specialist of Iran.
