Rich, golden tone canvasses this celebrated type featuring Vittorio Emanuele III and a delightful allegorical reverse illustration. Of the four dates in this ephemeral series, the 1912 is the most collectible, but also one of the more difficult dates to acquire as its mintage is just under 5,000 pieces. This particular selection has been wonderfully preserved and presents very clear fields--a distinction worth noting since this issue typically comes with numerous blemishes--and the devices are fully-rendered and crisp throughout.
