Ferdinand VI gold Cob 8 Escudos 1750 L-R AU55 NGC, Lima mint, KM47, Onza-576 (based on the style of the castles, since the denomination "8" on the reverse is off-flan). Lustrous with little actual high-point wear albeit double struck and thus with blurry details on the obverse. Probably from the "La Luz" shipwreck albeit not identified as such on the insert. A popular and elusive issue, rare in this technical designation.
