Ferdinand VII gold 8 Escudos 1813 LM-JP AU50 NGC, Lima mint, KM124, Onza-1218. Lustrous with limited high-point wear and the expected surface handling marks defining the grade. A scarce two-year type struck using the laureated draped bust punches intended for the silver coins of 4 Reales before the proper punches for the gold issues were received in 1813. Quite elusive and eminently collectible in this engaging quality.
Estimate: 1500-2000 USD
