Poland
Alexander I of Russia gold 50 Zlotych 1819-IB XF45 NGC, KM103, Fr-107, Bitkin-807 (R), small head. Struck during the Russian domination of Poland, this very rare and popular type presents the classic portrait of Alexander I atop attractive surfaces that are toned in antiqued-gold. A few scattered marks throughout the fields, as well as minor deposits within the obverse legends are all consistent with the assigned grade. Even so, this is a desirable specimen of a type that simply does not come in a mint-state designation.
