Nicholas I copper Proof Novodel 10 Kopecks 1838 CM PR64 Red and Brown NGC, Suzun mint, Bitkin-H662 (R2), Brekke-293A (Extremely Rare). Obv. Crowned double-headed Imperial eagle with date below. Rev. Value. Superbly struck, with considerable mint-red color and a few minor spots. The only example of this issue certified, in all grades, by both NGC and PCGS. We can find no previous sale of this issue since the World-Wide Coins of California sale of the Bernhard Brekke Collection specimen on May 5, 1994.
