Republic 5 Bolivares 1929 MS63 PCGS, Philadelphia mint, KM-Y24.2. Low "9" variety in date. A very attractive coin for the designation, Choice Uncirculated with frosty surfaces and full mint bloom. More elusive than the high "9" variety in high grade, rare and desirable in this select quality, with no examples certified higher by either major third party grading company. A similar piece hammered at $1,800 as lot 25021 in our CICF 2011 Signature auction.
