THESSALY. Larissa. Circa 460-400 BC. AR drachm (6.06 gm). Thessalos left, nude but for petasus and chlamys, gripping horns to restrain bull charging left / Bridled horse galloping right, with trailing rein; all within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 52; BCD Thessaly II 372 (same reverse die). Nicely struck in good metal and pleasing. NGC XF 4/5 - 4/5.
