Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, aegis around neck / Eagle standing left on thunderbolt; no control marks, dates or symbols. Svoronos 1231 and 1489/ SNG Copenhagen 244–5 and 262–8. A marvelous piece, struck in sculptural high relief and attractively toned. Minor flan crack at 12:00. NGC AU 4/5 - 3/5.
