Struck to commemorate the foundation of the Geographic Society of Rio de Janeiro on February 25, 1883. - Meili II-424. Silver, Choice Mint State with essentially full subdued mint bloom. A large variant of the previous item, 40mm in diameter. The last a rarer variant unlisted in VC. Both in charming preservation and very scarce as such.
