George III Counterstamped Dollar ND (ca.1797) XF45 NGC, KM626. Small oval counterstamp with portrait of George III struck upon Bolivia 8 Reales 1794. Host coin is attractively toned, counterstamp is bold. A silver shortage necessitated these counterstamps.
