Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust of Macrinus right and bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian left, facing one another / Zeus standing left, holding scepter and patera over lighted altar to left; E (mark of value) to right. AMNG I –; Varbanov 1237 var. (eagle on rev.). VF, green-brown patina. Well centered on a broad flan. An exceptional piece.
