THRACE, Philippopolis. Faustina Junior. Augusta, AD 147-175. Æ (25mm, 11.90 g, 1h). ΦAVCTHINA NEA CEBACTH, draped bust right / ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ, Artemis standing facing, holding torch in each hand. RPC IV online 7497 var. (obv. legend; only one torch mentioned); Mouchmov, Philippopolis 134 var. (obv. legend); Varbanov 882 var. (same). VF, green patina, some minor roughness. Extremely rare, and apparently unpublished in the standard references with this obverse legend.
