ARCADIA, Caphya. Septimius Severus. AD 193-211. Æ Assarion (21mm, 3.95 g, 4h). Struck circa AD 198-209. Laureate head right / Tyche standing left, holding rudder and cornucopia. Cf. BCD Peloponnesos I 1385-7 and 1392.1-2 (for other types of Severus); Otherwise unpublished in the standard references. Near VF, dark brown surfaces, light earthen deposits. Extremely rare.
