Limited high-point wear and attractive golden patina over rich subdued luster and quite well struck for the issue. A charming preservation for this scarce date, conditionally rare and most desirable in this engaging quality with DP noting that "(this issue) is the worst coin of the Alamos Mint... almost always (found in) low grade (and damaged)" and "anything above Extremely Fine (is considered) as very rare".
