Well preserved and significantly lustrous, with only slight high-point rubbing evidence and comparatively few handling marks for the designation. By far the more elusive date of this very scarce and iconic three-year type and "one of the classics of the (entire) series" as rated by DP. Quite remarkably preserved for this rarity and among the finer offered in recent years, thus a coin that should elicit serious bidding attention. Our estimate might prove quite conservative.
