Republic 8 Reales 1896/1 Go/As-RS/ML AU Details (Spot removed) PCGS, Guanajuato mint, KM377.8, DP-Go79. A small incrustation appears to have been removed around "MEX" on the eagle side which accounts for the designation. An interesting if not rare variety, proving the reuse of dies from the Alamos mint (which had closed in 1895) to strike coins in 1896 at the Guanajuato mint.
