Republic 8 Reales 1867 Pi-Ca AU Details (Cleaning) PCGS, San Luis Potosi mint, KM377.12, DP-Pi54. Very rare as a date and well struck for the issue with dusky tan tone in the centers and little evidence of past cleaning on either side. According to Dunigan and Parker, only three or four examples of this date are known in the Extremely Fine to Uncirculated grade, and given the overall presentation of the present coin, we have to believe it belongs as a part of that census.
