British naval flintlock boarding pistol, early 1800s. 3 lb 2 oz, 19" long. Fully functional and well-marked piece, the lock showing markings of TOWER and GR below crown as well as a crowned number 2, proofmarks on barrel, English broad arrow and BO (Board of Ordinance) marking on stock, "QI 6 / N 1" on brass butt-cap and small crown mark on steel belt hook, the wooden ramrod possibly a period replacement.
