Light old cabinet tone, fine style, high relief and well centered for this issue, virtually as struck, fdc.

Quite often these specimens are very worn out so the types are poorly struck up, so that coins show up only as a flat spot lacking any detail. The horse's eye and the head of Herakles on this specimen are fully struck up and display virtually no wear, making it one of the most desirable pieces of its type we have seen.
