ΥΤ ΚΑΙ Μ ΑΥΡΗΛΙ ΑΝΤΩΝΙΝΟC ΑΥΓ Laureate head of Caracalla to right, with light beard and mustache. Rev. ΜΗΤΡΟ ΚΑΙCΑΡΙΑC ΝΕΩΚΟ / ΕΤ ΙΗ Radiate and draped from the waist male figure (Apollo?) seated left on Mt. Argaeus, holding laurel branch in his right hand and resting his left on a round vessel atop Mt. Argaeus. Sydenham (Suppl.) 476e. An attractive piece with an elegant portrait of Caracalla. Minor scratch on the obverse, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
