Carthage, c. 310-270 BC. Stater (Electrum, 19mm, 7.53g 12). Head of Tanit to left, wearing grain wreath, triple pendant earring and necklace of oblong pendants; in field to left, pellet. Rev. Horse standing right; below exergual line, three pellets. Haeberlin Collection 1937, 53 = pl. VI, 10 (this coin). Jenkins & Lewis Group V, 280. SNG Copenhagen 137 (same dies). A lovely example of very good style and very well struck. A few uncleaned deposits as found, otherwise, good very fine.
