Dyrrhachion, c. 450-350 BC. Stater (Silver, 21mm, 10.35g 3). Cow standing to right, turning her head back to left to lick calf suckling to left; above, ΜΕ. Rev. Δ Υ Ρ Double stellate square within a square linear border; to right, vertical club; all within a linear circle. BMC 22-23. Haeberlin Collection 1937, 9 (this coin). A very attractive, nicely toned example. Some minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.
