Athens, c. 455-449 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23mm, 16.97g 10). Head of Athena right, wearing Attic helmet adorned with three olive leaves, sprig with palmette and round earring. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing, with triple-pronged tail feathers; behind, olive sprig and crescent; all within incuse square. Starr Group V.B. Struck on a tight flan and with some minor marks from cleaning, otherwise, about extremely fine.
