Corinthia

Corinth, c. 345-307 BC. Stater (Silver, 19mm, 8.59g 2). Ϙ Pegasus flying left with pointed wing. Rev. Α Ρ Head of Aphrodite to left, wearing pearl necklace and Corinthian helmet with leather neck guard and laurel wreath on bowl; behind neck, aegis with Gorgon's head. BCD Corinth -. BMC 253-254. Pegasi 427. Ravel 1009. Nicely toned and well struck. Minor die marks on the obverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
