Rhodos. Rhodes, c. 408/7-404 BC. c. 250-229 BC. Didrachm (Silver, 19mm, 6.66g 12), Agesidamos. Radiate head of Helios facing, turned slightly to the right. Rev. ΑΓΗΣΙΔΑΜΟΥ Rose with bud to left; below, Ρ Ο; to left, Artemis running to left. Ashton 206 var. SNG Keckman 534-5 var. (both with the magistrate's name in the nominative, rather than the genitive as here). A lovely, lustrous and toned example. Good extremely fine.
