Hormizd I Kushanshah (Ohrmazd), c. 285-300. Dinar (Gold, 27mm, 7.73g 12), Kabul. Ohromozoo Ooz orko Koshono Shohshoo Hormizd standing left, wearing military dress and a lion-head crown with korymbos, and, with his right hand, sacrificing over altar to left and, with his left, holding trident; to left, trident standard and pellet to right of altar; between legs, pellet over swastika; to right, below arm, three pellets; outer right, tamgha. Rev. Oor zooamao ozoooo Siva standing facing on ground line, holding diadem in his outstretched right hand and trident in his left; behind him, the bull Nandi standing left. Cribb 3. MK 707. Sunrise 1018. A very well struck and attractive example. Good extremely fine.
