Kushan Empire. Vasudeva II, c. 290-310. Dinar (Gold, 20mm, 7.86g 12), Mint III (C), third emission. Kushan inscription Vasudeva standing facing, his nimbate head turned to left, sacrificing over altar and holding standard; to left, filleted trident; to right, under his left arm, "omega". Rev. Kushan inscription The goddess Ardoxsho seated facing on throne, holding filleted investiture garland in her right hand and cradling a cornucopia with her left; above to left, tamgha. MK 574. An attractive, sharply struck example. Extremely fine.
