GREAT SELJUQ: Alp Arslan, 1058-1063, AV dinar (3.69g), Herat, AH(4)52, A-L1670, very clear mint & date, VF, RR. Alp Arslan was assigned to Herat in AH450, and struck dinars bearing his name and the name of Chaghri Beg Da'ud. This is first reported piece struck before his accession to the sultanate in 455 that lacks the name of Chaghri Beg and has a clear date.
