THESSALY, Pharsalos. Late 5th-mid 4th century BC. AR Drachm (18mm, 5.86 g, 11h). Dies signed by the engraver Telephantos and Hip–. Helmeted head of Athena right; TH/IΠ to left / Φ A P Σ around from upper left (PΣ retrograde), warrior on horseback rearing right, wearing petasos and holding mace; [TH] in exergue. Lavva 86 (V43/R51); BCD Thessaly I 1284; HGC 4, 624. Good VF, minor porosity, die break on reverse.
