MIXED. Ancient. Lot of two (2) "marked" coins. Includes: Greek: KINGS of MACEDON. Alexander III. AR Drachm. Contemporary imitation of Lampsakos mint issue // Roman Imperial. Julia Maesa. Æ Sestertius. Rome mint. RIC IV 421 (Elagabalus). Both coins with numerous chisel marks applied in antiquity. If the marks on the coin of Maesa represent a damnatio, it would be very unusual for a coin of a member of the imperial family other than the emperor himself. The first coin VF, the second Fine.
