JUDAEA, Ascalon. Caracalla. AD 198-217. AR Tetradrachm (27mm, 12.33 g, 12h). Struck AD 215-217. Laureate head right / Eagle standing facing on palm frond, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; in exergue, dove right with olive branch in beak. Prieur 1654. Good VF, lightly toned with a dusting of deposits. Very rare, six noted by Prieur, four in CoinArchives.
