Constantius II. AD 337-361. AV Solidus (21mm, 4.42 g, 12h). Nicomedia mint, 2nd officina. Struck AD 351-355. Pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with horseman motif / Roma seated facing, holding spear; Constantinopolis seated left, holding scepter and resting foot on prow; they support between them a shield inscribed VOT/XXX/MVLT/XXXX in four lines; SMNB. RIC VIII 74; Depeyrot 5/2. Good VF, a few scratches, traces of deposits.
