KINGS of MACEDON. Perseus. 179-168 BC. AR Tetradrachm (31.5mm, 15.52 g, 12h). Reduced standard. Pella or Amphipolis mint; Au-, mintmaster. Struck circa 171-168 BC. Diademed head right / Eagle standing right on thunderbolt; ΘE monogram above, AY monogram (mintmaster) to right, AN between legs; all within oak wreath; below, plow right. Mamroth, Perseus 19b; SNG Berry 382. Good VF, toned, with light golden hues around the devices, short hairline flan crack.
