REX. with overstrikes in legend, third I over L and fourth I over A, D over T or I and fifth I over U, penultimate A over U, last I over G, rev crowned shield of arms with emblematic divisions, .M.B.F.ET .H.REX. F.D.B. ET.L.D.S.R.I.A.T ET.E., 8.00g (ESC 1243 R5; cf Selig 1224). Good extremely fine, unevenly toned on the obverse with streak in front of face, reverse more even and attractive, the overstrikes apparent on all known examples, extremely rare.
