Extremely fine with much brilliance, rare.
The Armenian born Mkhitar (or Mekhitar) Sebastatsi first established the Order that bears his name in Constantinople, moving to the island of San Lazzaro degli Armeni in 1717. The members of the Mekhitarist Order are Benedictine monks of the Armenian Catholic Church and the Order is famous for its association with Armenian Literature, both for its collection and for its publishing.
