WORLD COINS, AUSTRIA, Archduke Ferdinand (1564-1595), Silver Doppelter Reichstaler, Hall mint, posthumous issue struck c.1601-1604, draped bust right, wearing the collar of the Order of the Golden fleece, rev crowned eagle, arms on breast, 56.99g (Dav 8120). Minor scratches on the obverse and light cabinet friction both sides, otherwise about extremely fine, a very attractive piece with a high relief and light tone, scarce type.
