Ancient coins - Greece
Greco-Baktrian Kingdom, Euthydemos II, c. 185-180 BC, Tetradrachm, extremely rare and interesting hybrid issue. The obverse shows the typical diademed and draped bust of the young Eutydemos II, cf. SNG ANS 217, whereas the reverse with Herakles seated and the PH monogram to lower inner right is apparantly an older type, cf. ANS 136, 15.42
