Charles II (1660-85), Two-Guineas, 1664, carolvs. ii. dei. gratia, first laureate bust right, pointed truncation, elephant below, rev. inverted die axis, mag. br. fra. et. hib. rex., four crowned shields cruciform, five strings to Irish harp, sceptres in angles, cross of four interlinked Cs in centre, edge vertically milled (MCE 32; Schneider 430; S.3334), attractive old tone, a few light scratches on reverse, good very fine and with some lustre.
