Egypt. New Kingdom, 1550-1075 BC. Green-glazed faience amulet in the shape of a baboon (11x8mm). Back in the form of a baboon in a worshipful stance, base engraved with the following protective symbols: Uraeus, Maat feather, and Neb. Pierced for suspension. For the back, see Matouk II, 823-829. Intact, glaze worn away on high points. Rare.
