Lower Egypt. Late Dynastic Period, circa 664-332 BC. Steatite scarab (17x13mm). Base inscribed with two Uraei facing outwards, guarding an ankh. A defined, molded scarab with bidirectional piercing. Some wear, but intact. Faint traces of blue-green glaze.
