Lower Egypt or Levant. Circa 1800-1500 BC. Darkened enstatite (21x16mm). Base with Western Semitic-style engraving mimicking a glyphos of a scarab surrouned by two uraei over crocodile, meaning "Rebirth of the Nile for the Lower Kingdom." Back is crudely engraved, showing only the head of the scarab. Pierced for suspension. A few minor chips.
