Western Semitic. Circa 1500-1200 BC. Quartz scarab (21x16mm). Base engraved with standing deer with reverted head; plant above. Back shows simple wings, thorax, head and legs. Pierced for suspension. Drill point technique used to define head. A few chips, engraving a bit soft.
