ROMAN. Imperial. Lot of two (2) Æ Sestertii of Nero. All coins: Laureate head right / Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory and parazonium, foot on helmet; shields behind. Each with edge hammered and smoothed into a bevel shape in antiquity, presumably for use in jewelry. Fine, brown surfaces. Unusual and interesting contemporary alteration. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS. Two (2) coins in lot.
